The article I read on textbook and the paper mentioned about same thing. Both of them are about "how to stay young."
From the textbook, the way of staying young is not only do the excersise, but also our mental attitudes, be optimism. Optimism person means believe that a good event is the result of their own skills or efforts, but the bad event is the result of chanse. If you are optimism, you will be healthier, happier, more successful, and recover from illness better. All of them are leads to stay young.
From the article, it is said that decrease the amount of red meats, drink tea, stand up for a few hours, clean around ourselves, help parents, and hang out with friends make us stay young.
As a result, it was not same thing, but all we have to do is do excersise, be optimism, and change our lifestyle.
Why don't you try it from now on?

Consumerism makes us to spend money anytime we want, without any restriction.
Which means we can buy anything we need to satisfy our desires like foods, clothes, toys and so on. As a result, someday, the demand will exceed the supply.

Q:
The auther says that even though she feels at home in the multi-cultural mix of Hawaii, she is still drawn to China and wants to spend time there to discover who she really is. Why do you think she feels this way? Do you think coming to term with your own cultural identity is important? Why or why not?
A:
I think because she wants to find answer to clear her mind.
I don't think it is not that much important for me to come to tearm with my cultural identity because I think multi-cultural is one of the identity of her. It doesn't has to be one culture for one person. I have a friend who is half of Japanese and Malaysian but she follows both Japan and Malaysia's cultural habit. So I think she doesn't need to limit the cltural identity.

Q1.Were you born during the years of the Millennial Generation?
Do you consider yourself a Millennial?
How are your attitudes similar to or different from those described in the reading as typical of Millenials?
A.
Yes, because I was born in 1992. From the chart on the article, I belong to "Millennial."
Yes, because I grow up with development of Video Games, Internet and the other kinds of useful items. Also I grow up with high-technology society like Internet, cell phone and so on.
Similar from the reading is about Internet. It is natural for me to do research on the Internet since I was elementary school. Different from the reading is I am not that much thinking about society or global economy seriously everyday.

1. Introduce about myself.
Hello, my name is Rina Obata. I live in Atsugi City. It takes about an hour to get to Ferris. I like to go shopping to find new clothes. I usually go to Yokohama or Harajuku with my friend or my mother to buy them. I hope I can be able to guess the meaning of words without using dictionary during this semester.
2. What is your opinion of reading in English?
My opinion of reading in English is it is very fast way to learn new English words.
I usually do this way to learn English words because I can't memorize them by using list of words or that kind of stuff. Also, we can learn English grammar by reading in English.
3. What do you hope to accomplish/learn in this class?
I hope I can guess the meaning of words by context of sentences, not using dictionary. And then, I will be able to understand the main poin of the paragraphs at once to improve my reading ability. At last, I can read English newspaper as I read in Japanese.
